Jody Myers-Fierz, founder of design firm, Color Concept Theory loved design for decades and her passion shows with every nuanced detail she includes in each project. She began her distinguished career in New York City, gaining experience in both residential and commercial design, which has helped her hone her talent and shape the way she approaches each project.

“My approach is to create a space that reflects each client’s individual personality and brings them a sense of peace. I like to push the boundaries by blending unique concepts and adding life into each space with the simple facet, color. A home should be a place that welcomes and relaxes you. At the end of each project, I want my clients to smile with that sense of ahhhh…” explains Jody.

Jody is a certified/licensed Interior Designer and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in interior design from the CIDA (Council for Interior Design Accreditation), School of Visual Arts in NYC. ASID member as well as LEED AP ID&C.  She has been recognized in magazines and online, and was named ASID CT Chapter President-Elect for 2016/2017.

As a certified, experienced and well-versed interior designer, Jody dedicates herself to creating livable spaces infused with personality, reflecting her client’s originality and lifestyle.  Her natural talents in blending transitionally modern pieces with traditional elements ensure that the spaces she creates remain timeless, withstanding the dynamic home trends of today.  From sophisticated, serene retreats to contemporary spaces that play with pattern, texture, and color, Jody’s projects range in style, but always have one thing in common; they are done to perfection.
