Susan Duane had been a stay at home mama to her three kiddos for 16 years.

Always a fan of crafts, cooking and making a house a home.  Susan Duane and her home, it turns out, is a constant project and she wouldn’t have it any other way.  It ends up being a place she can make beautiful, warm and welcoming and her family loves her for that.

Susan Duane had lived in the same small town in WNY her entire life and has a Bachelor’s degree in business and never really had a job she liked until she became a mom! Being a blogger is the second best job she’s ever had.

With her family she lives in an 1890 farmhouse that she admired growing up.  She loves old barns and falling down buildings, flowers, especially my grandmother’s peonies that she has in the yard.

Her hair is in a ponytail 90% of the time and she’s happiest in her jeans and a t-shirt either working on her house or on her blog aptly titled; Love of Home.
