Paloma Contreras is an interior decorator, taste-maker, and award-winning design blogger based in Houston, Texas. Paloma’s design sensibility is a modern take on traditional style– gravitating towards classic silhouettes and timeless pieces paired with a touch of glamour and an infusion of color. Paloma has honed her distinct eye for style through nearly a decade in the design industry and a lifetime of appreciating beauty in all of its various forms. Paloma is well-versed in a broad range of styles which are executed in a manner that is polished, refined, and effortless.

Paloma has also worked on special projects with top brands such as One Kings Lane, Bravo Television, American Express, Miele, Nest, Auberge du Soleil, and Hilton Luxury Brands. Paloma launched her widely read blog, La Dolce Vita in 2007 where she continues to write about “the sweet life” on a daily basis.

 

Paloma has been recognized as a “Next Wave” interior designer by House Beautiful and was recently named to LUXE Magazine’s “New Guard” list of 10 Designers to Know.

 

Paloma believes that every home should be a reflection of the people who inhabit its walls. Through her signature design approach, Paloma develops a comprehensive, bespoke plan suited to each individual project resulting in comfortable, luxurious spaces reflective of her clients’ tastes, interests, and lifestyles.
