Sandra Goroff is an award-winning art and literary publicist, having worked for 12 years at Houghton Mifflin’s trade division, headquartered in Boston, and for more than 18 additional years with her own business, Sandra Goroff & Associates.

Sandra has promoted such legendary artists as the late Roger Tory Peterson and Maurice Sendak, bestselling authors such as Clive Cussler, Thomas H Cook, and Steven Callahan, author of ADRIFT: 76 Days Lost at Sea. She has also worked with world class children’s authors Chris Van Allsburg, Margret Rey and David Macaulay. In addition, she has publicized art-related projects for The Museum of Modern Art, The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and the Smithsonian Institution.

Sandra’s love of photography led her to study with Allison Shaw of Martha’s Vineyard and at the prestigious Maine Media Workshop in Rockport, Maine. She has been represented by the Walker Cunningham Gallery in Boston and The Gallery at Somes Sound on Mt. Desert Island in Maine. Her photography is also part of the permanent collection at the Boston Children’s Hospital.  Sandra’s photography has been profiled in various publications including the Boston Globe, Publishers Weekly and the Portland Press Herald and in many online sites including www.thedailybasics.com, traditionalhome.com, and newenglandhome.com. Sandra comes from a family of artists and is an avid antique collector, design enthusiast, and watercolorist.

SOLITARY SOUL was Sandra’s first book of photography and was published by Lorimer Press in 2013.
