Barry Dixon is an interior designer practicing in the Virginia countryside near Washington DC.

Barry is known for a distinct aesthetic that blends warm and hospitable Southern design with global influences from a childhood spent abroad in India, Pakistan, Korea, New Caledonia and South Africa.

With a portfolio of residential projects spanning the nation and the globe, Barry is one of the worlds most sought-after designers.

He has created original furniture designs exclusively for Tomlinson/Erwin-Lambeth; accessories and furniture with Arteriors; fabric and trim collections for Vervain; furniture and pendants for Avrett; and a paint line called “The Naturals Color Collection by Barry Dixon” for C2 Paint.

Barry’s work is featured in Barry Dixon Interiors by Brian Coleman (author) and Edward Addeo (photographer). “Barry Dixon Inspirations” and “Fortuny Interiors” both by Brian Coleman (author) and Erik Kvalsvik (photographer).

Barry lives and works in his 1907 Edwardian estate, Elway Hall, located on over 300 acres of lush farmland in Fauquier County Virginia.
